I thought I would post this shot of a dead rat I discovered on a wedding shoot to celebrate the holiday! Enjoy...

Jen and Jeff were married at St. Vincent DePaul. I was just there the previous weekend for Jennifer and Tom's wedding! This church is gorgeous and I had a few minutes to shoot the exterior while I was waiting for Jen to arrive...

Here are her and the ladies heading in for the ceremony...

Jen touches up before heading down the aisle...

Some funny faces pre-ceremony...

Jen heads down the aisle.

Jen and Jeff head out for some bubble action...

All of Jeff's nieces and nephews!

We head out for city shots!

I love this shot of Jen getting ready for a photo...

Yes, I am a huge fan of the Lily Pond! =)

Jen gets some love from one of her bridesmaids...

The flower girls had some gloves to warm up from the cold weather...

A toast for the bride and groom. AND...to keep warm!

I love this one! It almost looks more like a painting than a photo... Photoshop, I love you! =)

The reception was at the Tower Club above the Lyric Opera so we had plenty of time to get more shots near the venue...

And we were off to cocktails...

They had a pianist for the cocktails...

The view from the room was VERY cool...

This is another view from the north side of the room...

Is that baby trying to steal his beer?!

She was playing hide and seek from the camera!

I love that she used pears as part of her decor...

And they enter the reception...

And Jeff shows us his skills on the drums!

Is Jeff dancing by himself?! =)

I think she may be a bit too young to catch the bouquet!

Jeff's mother stealing some candy...

Lisa got some proof that he had a bit too much candy!

And then we stepped outside for a quick night shot...

But we didn't make it back in before Jeff's friend attacked the bride...

A shot of the Lyric at night!

And the ring shot... She met Jeff when he sold her the first place she bought in the city. This is the key from that condo!

Thanks for having me. Enjoy!

The bridesmaids helped get Jennifer's dress photo ready!

Jennifer gets some help from both sides...

And we arrived at the church...

A quick shot of the flowers before she headed down the aisle!

And the ceremony begins...

Tom waiting for her grand entrance!

And this guy was hamming it up throughout the ceremony...

Jennifer with her mother and father...

And then we were off for pictures. The rain did not keep up from heading into the city. And by rain, I mean RAIN!

Luckily, they had plenty of umbrellas.

We took cover under the bean in Millenium Park and the tourists were posing with the couple!

We kept finding places to hide from the downpour!

She got to stay dry on the trolley!

I am glad we found this spot!

We stopped off at LaSalle street. I love how you can see the raindrops!

One of her bridesmaids was fighting with the umbrella!

And Jennifer touches up the hair for some more shooting!

We found a really cool alley to finish our rainy day session!

And a 'thumbs up' from the ABC-7 Chicago team...

Her mother was just over the weather!

And we arrived at the reception with a well-needed warm welcome...

Her father thanks everyone for coming out...

Jennifer dances with her father...

And the crowd goes wild when Tom takes over the dance floor with his mother!

And then the party was ON!

This guy was loving it...

The bride gets some help after a fall!

I am not sure what he is doing!?

She is clutching her pearls! I love it. =)

Jennifer showing everybody how it's done!

And the ring shot on their dogs chew toy!

If you have a dog and they need some training, you should check out the Bark Bark Club in Edgewater. Kim was our trainer and she was fantastic. We could tell a difference with Charlie after week one! Check out Kim's website HERE.
I asked if I could bring my camera to the graduation and I am glad I did! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the night.
Had to post a shot of Kim's decor. Ha!
|

Charlie was excited to get started...

He will pretty much do anything for a treat. Sitting - CHECK.

This was his neighbor for the six week course! Emma was posing!

Rocky doing puppy push-ups.

Anya keeping her eyes on her owner...

Kim at work with Buda and her owner.

And so does Chewie! You gotta love that nose...

I love labs!! Oscar stays... =)

And then Kim gave out their 'degree'. Too much! I love this shot of Oscar and his owner.

Charlie gets his too! I love how it says 'you are a star'. Um, a star does not pee on comforters. =)

And we tossed him a treat for finishing up six REALLY fun weeks!
