Stephanie and Max
07.23.15 | Weddings
Stephanie and Max were married a few weeks back at one of my favorite venues: Salvage One. This amazing couple had a day full of fun planned and I was happy to be part of it. The festivities began in the bridal suite where Stephanie was getting ready with her bridesmaids. All the details were gorgeous: the shoes, the hairpieces... but especially Stephanie's dress, which was absolutely swoon-worthy.
Stephanie, her mom and Maid of Honor took a minute to check out the dining room, which was all set up and ready for dinner. The bride couldn't hold back her happy tears as she saw how everything had come together.
We looked out the window and saw that Max and his father had just arrived. Stephanie took a second to give herself one last look-over in the mirror, and then we headed down to the designated "first look" spot. Max was there waiting for Stephanie with the biggest smile on his face. There were even more smiles when the two saw each other, of course!
What a perfect moment and an ideal start to the day. Next up were pre-ceremony photos, most of which were taken in Salvage One's building. I know I say this all the time, but I could shoot a hundred weddings at Salvage One and still come up with unique and creative shots. It's a testament to how well the staff there tends to their venue! Check it out for yourself!:
Who can pass up a skee-ball machine? We sure couldn't, and stopped to play a few rounds with Max's dad.
See that look on Max's face? It was there pretty much the entire day. In this picture, though, he's beaming as he watches Stephanie make her way down the aisle, escorted by her mother. Once the bride was at the front of the courtyard, Max's aunt, who presided over the ceremony, welcomed everyone and the wedding began.
With rings and vows exchanged, Max and Stephanie were husband and wife! Congratulations! They made their way down the aisle, met with cheers and applause from their loved ones. The newlyweds led everyone into the building were cocktails were being served.
When cocktails were finished, everyone moved upstairs for a delicious meal. And when that meal was finished, Max's parents led off speeches with words of love and support for their kids. There were plenty of laughs, memories, tears and love as others, including the Best Man and Maid of Honor, made their toasts.
The entertainment for the evening was provided by Gussied, who started the music off with the couple's first dance.
Then everyone jumped on the floor, drinks in hand and dance moves ready to go. And it was a party for the ages, too. See for yourself in this collection of images from the dance floor:
What a party! What a couple!
Congratulations on your marriage, Max and Stephanie. And thank-you for including me in the celebration!
