Dan and Elizabeth - Day After Session - 07.22.07
This is the first Day After shoot that I have posted on the blog. Its a chance to photograph the couple after the wedding and take some really cool shots without the stress of getting to the reception on time or getting the dress messed up! Very exciting. We were all over the place….Wicker Park to Soldier’s Field (Elizabeth likes saying that) and then back to Wicker Park with stops on the way! We had a blast!

I am still seeing pink! Jenna loves pink and the ceremony and reception room looked great. The tables were named after some of their favorite bands/artists. I secretly wanted to sit at the Wilco table! Here are some photos!

Beth and Jeff were married in Kenya but wanted to have a party for friends and family. I am so glad they asked me to hang out with them on Friday…it was a great party.

Tim and Emmi - Engagement Session - 07.02.07
After shooting these engagement photos I am really excited about the wedding. We decided to start at Margie’s Candy in the city and then we headed to Lincoln Square and hung out in a record store and an alley for awhile. We ended up with some great shots! Emmi kept buying me stuff so I how was I going to end the photo shoot early!? First, it was a butterscotch sundae at Margie’s and then they actually bought me this…..
Seth and Dena - 07.01.07
A fun couple chose a fun venue. If you have never been to Catalyst Ranch before…go! I always know that the couple is going to be super cool if they choose that venue and this was no exception. This was a PAR-TAY. Seth’s family is from Long Island so I also enjoyed the accents all night long!!
Melissa and Michael - 06.29.07
Melissa and Michael were very sure about one thing….they wanted to see each other for the first time in the church that they attend every Sunday. I have to say…one of the best ceremonies that I have had the pleasure of shooting. The minister was hilarious, sincere and had the best Irish accent! The ceremony was proof enough that Melissa and Michael were head over heels IN LOVE! Tears, prayers, laughter and me being told I have full access to shoot wherever I want. YES!! I get pretty excited when a church has no photo restrictions. Very rare but very cool.
Seth and Dena - Engagement Session - 06.25.07
Seth and Dena both entertain children for a living. They both are very artistic, creative and really cool people as well! I knew it was going to be a very interesting shoot and it was. They came dressed for fun and we made the most of it. The wedding was less than a week away so they used some of the shots for the ceremony.
Danielle and Mike - 06.23.07
Danielle and Mike know how to throw a party! Wow. What a fun day. I think everyone started drinking the night before!!?? The wedding party was awesome. The reception was in Lake In The Hills at the Boulder Ridge Country Club. It was a very cool place.
Sara and Paul - 06.22.07
Me and my assistant Jenny headed over to McHenry for another great wedding. The rain only came down for about ten minutes while we were shooting…very lucky! I know Sara through her sister Jaylee (I also shot her wedding) so I knew the day would be fun! Hope you both had a great time in Disney World on your honeymoon!!!!
