Abbie wasted no time putting her dress on so that we could go meet Scott on the Michigan Avenue Bridge. The light in her hotel room was amazing!
She had a front row seat for the craziness!
A little note from the groom.
Abbie and Scott were so much fun. I think we laughed after every shot we took!
Her mother put in the blood, sweat and tears! That dress stuff can be hard work!
Scott waiting for his bride.
A quick shot of his cool tie before Abbie made her way on the bridge.
She was so excited to see Abbie all dressed up.
She thought it was so cute!
Here we go! I LOVE this location for a first meeting.
They had all kinds of well wishes from the crowded street.
One of Abbie’s favorite buildings in the city.
We grabbed one last photo before making our way to the trolley for more photos around town.
One of the groomsmen got the tourists cheering for the bride.
I am not sure what is going on here but it had to be posted!
We stopped at Millenium Park.
One of the groomsmen stuck a pose on the way to our next location.
They were supposed to be dancing like Billy Elliot but they gave us the “robot” instead!
Love this!
The wedding party cheered them on when we arrived back on the trolley.
And then we took a quick stroll through Lincoln Park.
The light just kept getting better!
Yes, they brought mustaches. Score!
She couldn’t resist!
This guy was just making all kinds of crazy faces. Love it!
Showing off his tie again.
We arrived at Cafe Brauer just in time for the ceremony.
This was my first time photographing a ceremony on the terrace. It was perfect!
Abbie and her parents.
Abbie’s father.
This just looks crazy. Is that pigeon really floating on a balloon? =)
Scott’s parents.
Their friend played during their ceremony.
Scott’s grandfather.
Another one of their good friends sang for them.
The newlyweds!
The guests made their way to the other terrace for drinks.
Abbie thanked her friend for singing during the ceremony before heading to cocktails.
Scott’s father showing off a detail from the ceremony!
Oops. I got caught.
I am pretty sure Abbie will love this one. =)
Abbie’s cousin did the flowers for the wedding. I live right down the street from their awesome flower shop, MilleFiori!. I love it! Definitely check it out if you are in Evanston. I grabbed a quick shot of the husband and wife team.
Love these portraits.
I am pretty sure that her grandmother could be on television!
The flower girl and ring bearer.
The guests greeted Abbie and Scott to the reception!
Some speeches.
The couple thanks everyone for coming before stepping out on the dance floor.
The hora!
This definitely needs framed.
Party foul!
Uh oh!
And we end with Edgar Allen Poe.
Have a fantastic life together!
