Adrienne was getting ready at one of the coolest salons in Chicago, Strange Beauty Show.
Kevin was at the hotel taking care of business.

Apparently, this is how her friend calms down. She was giving the bride some advice on doing so before they helped her in the wedding dress.
Their first official piece of mail as Mr. and Mrs. Adams!
It was another hot day in Chicago. We quickly made our way to the air conditioned Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Lakeview.
We were greeted by the grooms mother and sister-in-law, Sarah, who also helped coordinate the day!

We ended up at one of the bridesmaids beautiful and very colorful home.
They had created the design from the wedding program in sidewalk chalk outside to surprise Adrienne.
We headed inside to cool off and enjoy the BBQ that awaited.
The bride held her Corona bouquet (not really) while the girls bustled her dress.

And then it was BBQ time!
They ran upstairs to practice their first dance before we headed to the reception.

Adrienne finally had a chance to kick up her feet before the big party at Promontory Point.
Some decided to nap.
Others took in the view from Lake Shore Drive.
Adrienne was getting tons of wedding wishes on Facebook as we headed to the reception.

Yes, that is the security guard that the city of Chicago provided for their reception. He was supposed to keep the locals from passing through their reception site. He was on the bench when I arrived and he was on the bench when I left. Let’s hope he does not read this post. =)

Adrienne’s mother passed away this year. I really love the photo that Adrienne gave me to use at the cocktail hour. It was nice to honor her mother’s memory.
They had games on the lawn for their guests.

I met Adrienne while shooting Sarah and Stephen’s wedding. Sarah is now expecting so we had to do a quick photo shoot!
