Beth was so excited for her wedding day! When I arrived at her hotel suite, her hair and makeup were complete and she was ready to get into her dress. I was excited to be there too, as Beth and Anteco had a fun day planned and I was looking forward to documenting every moment. But first- the dress!
So beautiful! That smile stayed on Beth’s face all day… such a happy bride!
Beth and Anteco had their first look in her suite, a slight alteration in our plans due to non-stop rain outside. But the location didn’t matter to these two… no matter where they were, they were overjoyed to be together. I mean, look at the excitement on their faces!
After Beth and Anteco had a few moments to check each other out, we headed into the downtown area near their hotel for pictures. Wedding party in tow, we moved to a famous spot not far from The Wit…
…the LaSalle Street bridge! We were so fortunate that there was a break in the rain just long enough to capture these moments.
Next up, we headed below the bridge for another round of group portraits. I love Beth and Anteco’s smiles in this picture as well as all the others. They were so happy to be getting married!
Onward! We headed back to the party bus and made our way to Union Station, another famous Chicago landmark perfect for taking photos!
That’s a wrap!
Ceremony start time was inching closer and closer; it was time to head over to the Museum of Contemporary Art, where the ceremony and reception were held.
Beth’s dad walked her down the aisle, giving her a big hug before taking his seat.
After a few words from their officiant, Beth and Anteco exchanged rings and vows.
That ring looks good on you, Anteco!
And then they were married! Congratulations!
Beth and Anteco made their way down the aisle, met with applause and cheers from all their family and friends.
A short time later, they were met with even more cheers as the newlyweds made their formal entrance into the reception.
There was a amazing party planned, which Beth and Anteco organized with help from Melissa of Clementine Custom Events. And that party started with Beth and Anteco sharing their first dance as husband and wife.
Next up were speeches, which started with the couple thanking their guests for attending and celebrating their marriage.
The Maid of Honor was up next with her toast, followed by a tribute from the Best Man.
Beth shared a parent dance with her father…
…and Anteco treated his mom to a dance.
Then everyone hit the floor! This crew was ready to dance, too, as you’ll see in this collection of images from Beth and Anteco’s dance party:
Even the staff couldn’t help but dance to the music!
What a party! Beth and Anteco, I can’t think of a happier or more fun way to begin a marriage. Congratulations to you both!
