Braxton arrived at the Blackstone Hotel on Memorial Day weekend excited to photograph Ariel and Tom’s big day. He had photographed Ariel’s sister Lexi’s wedding a couple years back (see Lexi and Robby’s wedding here), and he was looking forward to spending another fun day with their family!

He began by visiting Ariel in her room where she was getting ready. With the help of Maria from Simply Elegant Group Chicago, the day was off to a beautiful start.

Love this gorgeous dress detailing!
Meanwhile, in another room at The Blackstone, the guys were taking a break mid-wardrobe change to shoot a little pool. Work it guys!
Ariel took a moment to strike a pose on her way to Grant Park to see her handsome groom.
Ha! What a way to greet your future husband on your wedding day!
The couple took a few minutes to take some pictures around Grant Park and the South Loop area.
Obsessed with this colorful brick wall!
The bride was loaded into this gorgeous antique car by her dad, who drove her to the ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church .
Ariel and her father walked down the aisle…
I love this look on Tom’s face.
Congratulations, you two!
That Ipomea Floral Design bouquet is to die for.
The wedding party headed to the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool to get weird on the rocks!
And then the group headed to Buckingham Fountain to finish up some pictures.
Selfie time!
Back at the Blackstone Hotel, Ariel and Tom’s friends and family took turns giving toasts to the happy couple.
Hahaha, Tom looks nervous for what his buddies are saying about him.
With the help of the Blue Water Kings Band, they shared their first dance as husband and wife.
Ariel and her dad got down…
And then the the party got rocking!
The couple stepped outside to grab a couple night shots, with a bus full of happy onlookers!
Congratulations Ariel and Tom! And thank you for letting Braxton capture the love and fun of your wedding day.
