I always love photographing weddings at Salvage One, especially when I’m working with a fun couple like Brittany and Andrew. My day with them began as the two made their final preparations in the venue’s bridal suite, where they were joined by a few of their close family and friends to help make sure every detail was perfect.

Andrew’s mom was on hand to help the groom button up the back of Brittany’s dress. Once they were finished, we were ready to take pre-ceremony portraits.

We started out with just Brittany, Andrew and myself, going around to some favorite spots in the west loop neighborhood.

Next, the wedding party met us in front of Salvage One and we walked to a few locations to take group portraits. I loved the bright, beautiful fall colors we saw on our walk!

What an attentive bridal party! They made sure Brittany’s dress didn’t get too messed up as we walked down the street.

Finally, we ended up in one of my favorite spots for a final round of portraits. I’ve been visiting this spot for years!

When we arrived back at Salvage One, we still had plenty of time to take more photos. This next set of images were all taken on the grounds of the venue:

Finally, the ceremony had arrived. The wedding party took their places at the front of the room, and all eyes were on Brittany as she walked the aisle with Andrew’s mom.

The ceremony was presided over by Andrew’s father, who gave the ceremony so much heart and meaning.

And then they were officially official! The newlyweds walked back down the aisle and headed back up to the bridal suite, where they spent a few moments alone together before joining guests at the reception.

While guests finished their dinner, Brittany and Andrew shared their first dance together as husband and wife.

Then members of the bridal party lined up to give loving toasts in honor of the couple.

After speeches were parent dances…

…and then everyone gathered on the dance floor, ready to party! The music for the evening was provided by Dustin of Toast & Jam. He did an awesome job providing the tunes that kept the party hopping!

What a fun and happy day! I had a great time sharing it with you, Brittany and Andrew. Congratulations on your marriage!
