After the dance party with their animal friends, Dan and Alyssa were flying high.
We picked up where we left off, in the fantastic timber adjacent to the Evanston Art Center.
There was so much to explore! Dan gave Alyssa a ride as we made our way toward the lake.
Climbing over the rocks can be treacherous…
…but it’s worth it!
Dan and Alyssa are just the sort of creative, fun couples I love to work with. They have a great time together…
…and I was having a great time with them.
We were walking along the beach when we heard a most delightful sound…
…the ice cream cart! The gentleman who was manning the cart even let Alyssa get behind the wheel for a minute.
Dan and Alyssa love ice cream…
…but the ducks can do without it. It was nice of you to offer though, Dan!
The only thing that could make this trip to the park more perfect was a spin on a bicycle built for two.
Whoops! Alyssa’s dress wasn’t working out for her anymore…
…so they switched outfits and we headed down Montrose avenue to see what kinds of trouble we could get into.
One of my favorite places, Architectural Artifacts, was nearby and open for business, so we dropped in. I told Dan and Alyssa to cut loose for awhile, and they were more than happy to oblige.
Also nearby was Angel Food Bakery and you know how I feel about cupcakes. Luckily, Dan and Alyssa share my appreciation.
Beautiful! What a good-looking couple!
I had so much fun photographing your engagement session, Dan and Alyssa. I can’t wait for your wedding in a few weeks!
