Deborah and Jay invited me over to take pictures of them to commemorate their one-year anniversary. I met up with them at their gorgeous home in Old Town.
Their yard was beautiful! The timing was perfect- the leaves in their yard still had all of their fall colors.
And here’s their adorable little guy. Look at him with his smirk. I immediately fell in love with him!
Check out his house! Too cute.
One happy family.
Later! He actually stayed indoors but this made for a better story. =)
We stopped off at the El station first.
Then we headed out to explore their neighborhood.
Jay couldn’t resist climbing around on these rafters.
They are such a cute couple. Jay made her laugh through the whole shoot.
Fall is my favorite time of year. So many bright colors for photos.
And Old Town was giving us some great backdrops.
Striking a pose!
After we explored Old Town, we headed west and to one of my favorite spots.
Jay offered Deborah a ride. What a guy!
Another piggy back ride!
Their “awkward” pose.
And then we arrived at Life’s Too Short.
They worked up an appetite so we stopped for food.
Mmmmmm… nothing beats a good, old fashioned Chicago hot dog.
Thanks for a great afternoon, Deborah and Jay. Congratulations on your first anniversary! Many more!
