Ellen and Dave are getting married this fall and hope to take full advantage of the autumn colors during their wedding photoshoot (I love fall weddings!). We took advantage of Chicago’s summer colors during their engagement shoot a few weeks ago, starting our time together in Lincoln Park’s lush, green backdrops.
It was so fun working with Ellen and Dave- there was lots of laughter and many smiles, as you’ll see as you browse these images!

We left the green trees of Lincoln Park to visit some sites that are a different kind of colorful: Chicago’s unique and vibrant murals!

We spent some time checking out the city skyline from the walkway of the Kinzie Street Bridge, too.

And since we were on top of a bridge…

…it made sense to see what was below one as well! Ellen, Dave and I checked out this underpass as we made our way through the West Loop.

Finally, we wrapped things up by taking a stroll through Montrose Harbor. Ellen and Dave climbed to the top of the big sledding hill they have there…

…and then ended the shoot by taking a walk along the lake.

I can’t wait to spend your wedding day with you this fall, Ellen and Dave! I’ll see you again in a few months!
