It’s Ida! I always love seeing Ida and her parents, and today we had a special shoot planned as we visited Promontory Point. Her parents were married here!
Ida was having a blast, exploring the rocks and looking out to the lake.
And that wind was something else!
Ida and her dad got a surprise as they posed for a picture together… they got soaked!
I fell in love with Ida’s jacket. I’ve been photographing her since she was tiny… she looked so grown up!
Dad gave Ida an airplane ride to our next location…
…the nature trail near Museum of Science and Industry. Ida was off and running right away.
She was a big fan of climbing this tree and told us how much she enjoyed the view.
Mom and Dad got together for a few portraits with Ida, too.
And then we were off to the University of Chicago, Ida’s mom’s alma mater.
Maybe Ida will walk these halls a student someday, too…
…but she’s in no rush.
It was great to see you and your family again, Ida! I hope to see you all again very soon!
