I participated in Indie Wed this weekend. It was very successful and lots of fun! The event was held at the Ravenswood Event Center. Such a cool space!
My booth was inspired by my crazy mind and warped sense of humor. Enjoy…

Tacky – CHECK.

Vegas – CHECK.

Elvis – YES.

I just couldn’t contain my love for the absurd.

Jarrod helped me out all day… This pose is kind of freaking me out.

Along with the fun and sassy Nika Vaughan.

I had some very cool guests stop by throughout the course of the day. If you do not see your photo with Elvis, email me! I can send you a copy via email. There were lots of people stopping by so I could not post them all!
Here is Kelly from Clementine Custom Events.

Elvis was fondled all day long!

Some people decided to go the ‘sweet’ route…

And some, not. Here is Charlene from Sweet Chic Events.

Leslie from Toast and Jam!

Candice Cusic and Justin Runquist ham it up…

Leah and Kieffer…

Mary Nisi of Toast and Jam. What a poser.

A kiss for the king…

He was getting lots of love…

Paulette from Catalyst Ranch stopped by…

They had a fashion show with several of Chicago’s best…

The gang enjoying the show…

What a crowd!

I tried to check out as many booths as I could. Here are a few…
Inspired Goodness had a beautiful booth…

Naomi from Tipsy Cake and her Australian inspired wedding cake! So cute.

One of my brides brought her mother to the show and they ended up hiring Naomi to do some little pies for their reception. She stepped behind her booth and took charge while Naomi made sure there was more cake on its way to the show!

And when it arrived, it was gone in no time! =)

The very cool booth from the folks at I Do Films.

Fine & Raw Chocolate made the trek to Chicago from Brooklyn.

A very happy Indie Wed patron!

I loved these wedding toppers from The Small Object.

‘The Garter Girl’, Julianne Smith!!

Some hip attire from Love, Lulu Mae.

Some awesome ‘save the date’ cards!

The ladies from Layer Cake Shop.

The simple and very sweet booth by Delicate Creature.

How cool is this ‘invitation’ dress by Kelly at Paper Stories! Kelly also created Indie Wed!! Busy lady.

I couldn’t end the post without a final shot of my favorite camera hog! Mary, you crazy. Here she is with her famous Toast and Jam prop!

Let’s hope for another great Indie Wed show in 2011!
