Jaime and Nick are getting married in September of next year, and we got together almost exactly one year before the ceremony to take their engagement photos. This fun couple was a blast to work with… I can’t even imagine how much fun we’ll have on their wedding day!

We started things off in Lincoln Park, where Jamie and Nick strolled leisurely down the path while I clicked away on my camera.

The sun was in the perfect spot for pictures at the Lily Pond. I love how the photos turned out!
We made the best of our time at Lincoln Park, and after a ton of photos there…
…we moved into the city, stopping by some of my favorite murals.
Jamie and Nick took a bit of break, sitting on this rail for a minute…
…before we headed to the lake. It was the perfect evening to shoot in this scenic location. Not a cloud in the sky!
The lighting was fantastic… this is one of my favorite images from the entire session:
Finally, we found a secluded spot for one last round of portraits before the sun set. These little corners of the city that barely look like the city at all are some of my favorite places in all of Chicago.
And with the last picture taken, Jamie and Nick walked off into the sunset. I’ll see you both again in a year for your wedding– I can’t wait!
