I met up with Jeanette and Wayne at Olive Park for their engagement session.

The building behind them in the W Lakeshore. This is where they will be getting married next year.

Jeanette is from the states, and Wayne is from Australia, but they met while working in China.

A friend set them up on a blind date, and the rest is history!

Wayne came back to Chicago for a quick visit so that we could do their engagement photos. He hopes to be back for good soon!

We were enjoying the beautiful fall weather as we toured around town, hitting up some of my favorite spots.

This bridge has been good to me lately, photo-wise. Look out for that bus!

As much luck as we were having at my favorite spots, we had some good luck finding new murals to shoot at.

Like this big guy. Watch out below!

Up next was the rail yard on the west side.

We fell in love with this melty blob monster.

Wayne was then inspired to make some art of his own with a spray can he found. Not really. That was an empty that was lying around. Or was it?

Whew! All that photo-taking made us hungry… for blood! No… not for blood…

For hot dogs!

Wayne and Jeanette fueled up on hot dogs and fries.

They couldn’t resist playing with their food. Walrus teeth!

Wayne took another sip…

…and I set up a ring shot.

And we hit the road. We didn’t go too far before we saw this welcomed sight.

Ice cream! It was the perfect finish to hot dogs and fries.

Thanks for a fun afternoon, Jeanette and Wayne! I’m looking forward to your wedding day this July!
