A present?!? For me!?! This is how Jen and Nathan’s pup greeted me when I arrived at their home a few weeks ago to photograph their wedding day. What a warm and lovely way to begin the day!

Jen’s son was there to greet me, too, introducing himself from the balcony above the front entrance.

Nathan finished his preparations by ensuring his tie was on straight…

…and soon after, Jen joined us in the front room. This couple was ready to go!

Jen and Nathan recently purchased a new home, and were excited to pose in front of it as we began our pre-ceremony photo session.

Nearby was one of Evanston’s landmarks, the Harley Clarke Mansion, which boasts a beautiful park that runs alongside the lake. We spent a good amount of time walking through the park and the mansion grounds, stopping at several spots for portraits.

Finally, it was time for the “I do’s”! Jen’s son greeted us as we entered the church…

…and asked Nathan for some help with his bow tie.

Nathan’s daughters were there, too, checking in with their dad in the moments before the ceremony.

Guests began to gather in the church, greeting each other and visiting with Jen and Nathan before heading into the sanctuary.

Jen and Nathan’s closest family and friends gathered in the pews for the intimate ceremony…

…and a few moments later, Jen and Nathan were at the altar.

With vows, rings and kiss exchanged, Jen and Nathan were married! Congratulations!

The newlyweds made their way down the aisle…

…and shortly after, everyone gathered at The Stained Glass for the reception.

Congratulations on your marriage, Jen and Nathan! Thank you for sharing your day with me!
