Not too long ago, I was at one of my favorite places- Salvage One– for the wedding of one of my favorite couples- Jenna and Grant. When I arrived, Jenna was with her bridesmaids as they made their preparations. The bride’s attendants were doing their job well, making sure Jenna had everything she needed and that every detail was perfect.

Perfect! Every detail looked amazing and Jenna was stunning. Everybody gathered their things and headed downstairs for the couple’s first look.

Grant was already in position, staring anxiously at his shoes while waiting to see his bride. Soon enough, though, she was by his side and their wedding day began.

The couple, the wedding party and I headed out for pre-ceremony pictures. Our first stop was the Kinzie St. Bridge, where everyone got a turn in front of the camera.

Then we headed back in to the West Loop, making stops at some of my favorite places. Here, the groomsmen are giving Jenna a hand up to this platform. Way to look out for the bride, guys!

I love how Grant is looking at Jenna in this picture. You can just tell how much he loves her!

Jenna and her girls posed together for a group shot…

….before we headed back to the venue. There are tons of amazing spots at Salvage One for taking pictures as you’ll see in these next few images:

Going up! The third floor of Salvage One is a wonderland of photographic backdrops. We had a lot of fun exploring and taking pictures:

With a few minutes to go before the ceremony start, Jenna and Grant took a load off by taking a seat in the Bridal Suite. They also exchanged gifts… I think it’s safe to say that Grant was happy with his gift from Jenna!

Finally, it was time to walk the aisle. Jenna entered the room, escorted by her father, and the ceremony began. It was a beautiful ceremony, too, full of warmth and meaning.

With rings and vows exchanged, Jenna and Grant were married. Congratulations!! They made their exit and then the guests began enjoying cocktail hour.

The guests enjoyed signature drinks and delicious appetizers, both inside Salvage One’s showroom…

…and in the courtyard!

When cocktails were finished, everyone settled into the second floor dining hall for a fantastic meal. As people were finishing eating, Jenna’s parents kicked off speeches. They were followed in kind by Grant’s dad, Grant’s brother (who served as the Best Man) and the Maids of Honor.

Finally, the newlyweds thanked everyone, sharing their appreciation for their guests spending the day with them.

The bride and her father warmed up the dance floor for everyone with their father-daughter dance…

…and then the couple shared their first dance as husband and wife.

When Jenna and Grant were finished, the band kicked it in to high gear and everyone packed on to the dance floor!

There were lots of laughs, smiles and wicked dance moves, too, as you’ll see from this collection of images from Jenna and Grant’s dance party:

Whew! What a party! We took a minute to grab some air in the courtyard, where I took a final round of pictures for the night.

Jenna and Grant, congratulations on your marriage! Your wedding day was a complete success– thank-you for asking me to be part of it!
