Karitza and Dennis will be getting married in just a few short weeks. I’m looking forward to being there with them to photograph all the action! First, though, the three of us got together and hit the town for their engagement session.
The trees had just sprouted their leaves, so the park seemed like the natural starting point for the shoot.
I had a great time walking around with this wonderful couple, hearing all about their wedding plans.
After our stroll through the park, we began to wander through along the streets, checking out some of the art. The following is a collection of some of my favorites from our walk.
Karitza and Dennis were all smiles as we made our way to the Pilsen neighborhood.
And were more than happy to pose in front of this Chicago Flag-themed mural after a quick outfit change.
I love shooting in front of this colorful fence during engagement sessions!
Finally, we ended up in another of my favorite spots. The rail yard in the west loop.
What a gentleman! Dennis offered up a piggy-back ride to his fiancé.
Mind the gap!
Whew! Taking pictures is exhausting!
We stopped by one of Dennis and Karitza’s favorite watering holes for some refreshments.
Not too shabby!
Our last stop was the home the couple shares with their four-legged (and very photogenic) friend.
Big kisses all around!
Congratulations on your engagement, Karitza and Dennis! I’ll see you again in just a few weeks for your wedding!!
