Wells was jumping with joy for his family photo shoot! He’s the son of Kelly, a local author I photographed awhile back for the dust jacket of her book. She asked me back to do family photos, and had big news to share…
…baby #2 is on the way!
The family wanted to document this special and exciting time in their lives, and I was more than happy to help out. We started on the beach, where Wells and his dad Fitz skipped rocks while I took some pictures of Kelly.
This family is ridiculously photogenic, especially little Wells who was smiling the whole time. Such a happy guy!
He was especially happy when we took some time to play on the playground equipment!
What a sweetheart…. Wells leaned in to give his new baby brother or sister a kiss.
We headed back to the family’s home, where they showed off their collection of Chuck Taylors. They even have a pair ready to go for the new arrival!
And of course, no family photo session is complete without including the furriest member of the family…
…who also happens to be one of Wells’s best buddies.
