It was Kristin and Justin’s wedding day, and they had invited me along to share in the day’s events with them. They really showed off their creative style at their engagement shoot, and I was excited to see what they had in store for the wedding! I met up with Kristin and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite as they prepared for the day.
Kristin, along with help from a few bridesmaids, created her gown and all of the bridesmaid’s dresses… and they did a fantastic job, too! After making a final inspection of the dresses, Kristen and her attendants all got ready.
Her bridesmaids were all over some of the last-minute details that needed attention. What a crew!
The last touch were the earrings. With that important piece in place, Kristin was ready to meet up with Justin!
And Justin was ready to meet up with Kristin, too! Here he is in the designated “first look” spot, trying very hard to contain his excitement.
Kristin made her way up behind Justin, and when he turned around, his reaction was priceless.
This happy groom couldn’t believe his eyes! What a sweet guy!

…and then it was time for the ceremony! The ring bearers were cute as buttons, all dressed up in outfits that were also made by Kristin and her bridesmaids.
Kristin was escorted down the aisle by her father, who gave Kristin a hug and shook Justin’s hand before taking a seat. The ceremony was both meaningful and beautiful, as the two said their vows in front of a table featuring wedding portraits from their parent’s and grandparent’s weddings. Friends and family also participated by sharing a handful of readings. Plus, the ceremony site was ideal for taking pictures. See for yourself in this next round of images!:
With vows and rings exchanged, Kristin and Justin were married! Congratulations!!!
Now it was time for the celebration! Spirits were high as the bridal party and guests took golf carts to the reception.
When they arrived, Kristin had a quick change. The bottom of her dress came off to reveal an ombre bottom to match the bridesmaids dresses. It was a total surprise for Justin, who hadn’t seen this feature until this moment!
The guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner, and while everyone was finishing up their meal, Kristin and Justin joined each other on the floor for their first dance as a married couple. It didn’t take long for everyone else to join them, as the partygoers were ready to strut their stuff!
