Kristyn and Patrick are getting married soon and they asked me to photograph their engagement session.
We started out by exploring some of the landmarks in Lincoln Park.
I love shooting at this place- it reminds me of a castle!
After walking around Lincoln Park, we crossed the bridge over Lake Shore Drive…
…and took a walk by the lake.
We were having a great time, but something was missing…
Their puppy! What a rebel!
The happy family…
Next up was a walk along the Chicago river, starting with a good look at the Kinzie Street bridge.
With the river area properly explored, we decided to move further into the city…
…and I took them to model in front of some of my favorite murals.
They are having a destination wedding so we had to use this as a backdrop!
This little alley is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots.
While we were in the neighborhood, we dropped by the train yard.
All this walking around taking photos made us ready for a snack.
So we hit up Black Dog Gelato for a frosty treat.
They made quick friends with the Black Dog staff.
I had a wonderful time with you, Kristyn and Patrick! I know you’ll have an even better time in Mexico… I can’t wait to hear all about it!
