LaShawnta and Pascal are finally tying the knot! After years together, the time is right for these two to walk down the aisle, and I’m happy to be there with them, documenting the day. But first comes their engagement session, which we had a few weeks ago. I met up with this cute and affectionate couple in Lincoln Park, where we took portraits around the lily pond before heading out to visit some of my favorite spots. You’ll notice how crazy these two are for each other- there were lots of hugs and kisses during this shoot!
Watch out for that rat, Pascal! It’s crazy!
WIth senses of humor like this, you know Pascal, LaShawnta and I got along just fine.
The lighting for these pictures with the skyline was perfect.
We left the West Loop and headed into the downtown area. I had a whole list of locations for these two to check out, beginning with the Kinzie Street Bridge, then moving on to some of my favorite street murals.
Man, I love a couple that’s not afraid to pose with a port-a-potty. I can’t wait to see what kinds of trouble I can get them into on their wedding day!
I haven’t visited this piece of fine art in awhile!
We had just enough time for one last picture as the sun set. What an afternoon!
I’m already looking forward to your wedding, LaShawnta and Pascal! I’ll see you again in September!
