Lee and Paul were married earlier this spring at one of my favorite venues, A New Leaf. I’m always excited to photograph ceremonies held at A New Leaf, and I was even more excited to photograph this gorgeous bride in that setting. I arrived at the couple’s home as they were finishing their preparations. When they were both ready to go, we hit a nearby mural for a quick portrait before heading to the venue.
When everyone had a chance to settle in, Lee and Paul were married in the courtyard, surrounded by their closest family and friends. I don’t think they could have looked any happier or more in love.
Paul’s two daughters participated in the ceremony by sharing a reading with the guests.
Vows and rings were exchanged…
…and then they were married! Congratulations!
The newlyweds led guests back inside the building, where cocktails were ready to be served.
While guests enjoyed their drinks, I set out to take a few detail shots. How beautiful is this set up?? As the sun began to set, it added so much feeling and emotion to the room.
And while I shot details, Lee practiced a dance with her nephew. They were going to wow the guests with their routine a little later in the reception.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and company before settling in for dinner…
…and while they enjoyed the meal, Lee and Paul’s friends and family offered up toasts in honor of the couple.
Finally, Lee and Paul thanked their loved ones for sharing in the day with them before taking to the floor for their first dance together as husband and wife.
Finally, the guests hit the floor to celebrate the marriage with a dance party. It was a blast, too, as you’ll see in these next images:
Two thumbs up for Lee and Paul’s wedding! Thank you for including me in the celebration!
