This is Lily! She started her senior year of high school a few days ago, and Lily’s mom (with Lily, below), who went to elementary school with me (!), asked if I would take Lily’s senior pictures. Of course I would! I arranged for the daughter-mother team to meet me at the lily pond in Lincoln Park, where we kicked things off.

Lily was so much fun to work with- she didn’t hesitate to swing from a branch…

…or climb out on a rock ledge to get a great picture.

I loved that Lily was willing to climb up into a tree! And this was one of many that she made her own!

After spending awhile at the lily pond, we moved over to the lakeshore.

This picture in front of the Chicago skyline is one of my favorites!

A perfectly-executed cartwheel for the camera.

Lily has been attending the same camp for years and now serves as a camp counselor. She loves it! Here, she was showing me one of the many traditional camp cheers.

It was wonderful to meet you, Lily! Enjoy your senior year– it’s going to be awesome!
