May can’t come soon enough for Lindsay and Nate.

This couple will be walking the aisle next year, and I’ll be there with them, photographing the day.

First up, though, was their engagement session.

We began on the city’s west side with some staged shots in the rail yard.

Like I said, Lindsay and Nate couldn’t be more excited about their May wedding.

They’ll be tying the knot at the Chicago History Museum, which is a beautiful venue for a wedding.

Speaking of beautiful, I was happy we were able to capture the last few moments of fall coloring on the trees.

And the lily pond in Lincoln Park had plenty of yellows, oranges and reds for us to pose with.

The next stop for Lindsay, Nate and I was the river.

While we were downtown, we wrapped up the shoot by visiting a few of my favorite spots.

Congratulations on your engagement, Lindsday and Nate! I’ll see you in May for your wedding!
