I was thrilled to be working with Lisa and Brianna on their wedding day. Things kicked off at their hotel downtown where I caught Lisa walking through the lobby to meet me. Look closely!
Lisa was getting ready in her room, flanked by her friends and family.
Meanwhile, Brianna was in her room. Braxton got a shot of her checking out the bridge where she was about to see Lisa for the first time!
This just scares me.
I followed Lisa on her way out to meet Brianna.
Anxiously awaiting her bride to meet her on the bridge near the hotel.
The first look…
and she goes in for the hug!
and then mad props.
Couldn’t resist a quick climb before the wedding party arrived.
Here they are!
Lisa with her sisters.
They partied the entire time. It was a blast!
Next, we jumped on the trolley and headed to Soldier Field.
Finishing the beer before getting off the trolley.
The brides wanted a few shots at Soldier Field, so we made the trip up to the stadium.
Here’s the party, trying to talk our way into the stadium to catch a few shots.
Denied! We improvised.
Yes, they went there. =)
Love it.
They dared someone on the street to show his chest.
And…he did it.
Lisa’s dad giving her away.
Everyone pays attention as Brianna enters the room.

Lisa’s mom is all smiles as she watches the ceremony.

The officiant addressed the brides…
The vows.
I love these two unity candle shots.
Congratulations!
The view from their cocktail hour.
Cocktail hour begins! We’ll come back to this guy when he finishes his drink.
Brianna’s grandmother was caught…
red-handed.
Brianna’s parents showing us what it’s all about!
The aftermath.
I loved taking her photo!
Tim?!?!! No way.
Some of the details.
The flowers were done by a family friend.
Yes, a broom from their ceremony. It’s an African American tradition that represents an entrance into a new life and their creation of a new family.
Garrett’s popcorn and the rings!
And then there was this thing. Brianna made this when she was younger and it made several appearances that night. I am just glad it didn’t follow me home.
Happy Cake Dance!
Gorgeous cake, done by Alliance Bakery.
After cake, speeches began.

Lisa’s brother.

Brianna’s sister.
Lisa and Brianna were both grateful for the support of their family and friends!
Then the couple had their first dance.

Brianna and hers….
Now everybody!
Showin’ ’em how it’s done.
Skeletor! What have you done to Battle Cat!??!
Packed dance floor! Everybody was having a good time!
Brianna and her buddies singing one of their favorites.
A grandma dance off!
Dont’ get carried away! Yeah. I said it.
Brianna and her rugby girls perform for Lisa and the party.
Nice moves!
Guess who caught the bouquet? Lucky!
Talk about coordination! Her gum matches her earrings!
Lisa’s friend gives some attention to her and the dress.
Partied heartily, and ready to recharge.
Laced up and ready to go.
New outfit. More partying to be done.
Thanks for the fun night!!!
