Marissa and David’s wedding day had arrived and I was happy to spend the day with them, documenting their ceremony and celebration. Things got started at Marissa’s AirBnB, where she was making her preparations alongside her bridesmaids.

Her mom and dad were there, too, and had to get in a few hugs and kisses upon seeing Marissa.

When she was ready to go, Marissa walked down the stairs, met with adoring sighs from her friends.

Once everyone had a chance to admire the bride, we piled into the party bus and headed to the church.

And what a gorgeous church at that! Marissa and David had a traditional Catholic service in this amazing sanctuary, which was witnessed by their closest friends and family:

With vows, rings and a kiss exchanged, Marissa and David were married! Congratulations!

After the ceremony, the newlyweds ducked out of sight while their guests exited the church. Once everyone was gathered by the church entrance, Marissa and David made their exit, met with applause and cheers from all.

Once we were back on the bus, one of our first stops after the ceremony was to visit a very important member of Marissa and David’s family: their pup Addison. Addison is one lucky pup who lives in a home with two humans who love all dogs! David is an associate member of the One Tail at a Time Board of Directors, and he also owns his own dog-walking business, Field Days Dog Walking.

Addison got in a little walk of her own, too! Marissa and David were so happy that they had this time to share with their pup.

More pets and cuddles for Addison!

All of the following images were shot in the Logan Square neighborhood. There are so many wonderful backdrops for shooting there… it was hard to pick just a few!

We arrived at the reception venue, Artifact Events, with enough time to squeeze in a few more pictures. David took the lead on the first picture as he broke out a selfie stick.

Moments later, David and Marissa made their grand entrance into the reception. The newlyweds made their way through the ballroom and took their seats at the head table.

Speeches began with words from David’s dad, who brought a special surprise…

…Addison! The big-hearted pup was so excited to be at the party.

Her owners were pretty pumped, too!

The Maid of Honor and Best Man each delivered toasts in honor of the bride and groom…

…and then Marissa and David thanked their guests for their love and support.

Dancing started with the bride and groom sharing their first dance as a couple…

…followed by parent dances. Marissa enjoyed a dance with her father while David shared same with his mother.

Then everyone hit the floor! This group was ready to party, too, as you’ll see in this collection of images from David and Marissa’s dance party!:

Congratulations on your marriage, David and Marissa! I had a blast sharing in the festivities with you… thank you for including me!
