Mary and Alton chose one of my favorite venues in the city, Salvage One. This place is awesome! The photo below is just one of many reasons why.
Mary and Alton wasted no time in seeing each other in their wedding attire. Mary was rocking out the vintage look. I loved it!
Her dress and shoes were perfect!
Salvage One’s wedding coordinator has an awesome and very well-behaved dog! Mary played a little ball toss with him before we started our photo journey around the giant antique maze!
And our photo journey begins!
I got to spy on them through the window…
I became a little obsessed with this funky doorway!
I couldn’t quit the dream sign! =)
Some serious posing!
A couple solo portraits…
And then we checked out their ceremony site.
You know I can’t resist a cheesy photo.
And then we headed inside for the ceremony…
They had some friends from Dolly Varden play for their ceremony.
Some people laughed…
The bride and groom held hands…
And some people poked their eyes out…
It was definitely a beautiful ceremony!
After the ceremony was over I had to run around and photograph some of the amazing details that Mary and Alton incorporated into their wedding.

They used Elizabeth at Asrai Garden to provide some beautiful flowers. I loved the different size jars that they used on each table.

Loving the lips!
I took a shot of the buffet before the guests attacked it! Wishbone did the catering to represent the grooms southern roots The food was great!
The bride and groom met at Old Town School of Folk Music here in Chicago where the groom also teaches.
And the party began as the sun was setting…
The guests had lots to keep them entertained!
She wanted to get a shot with Henry.
Children in an antique store make me a bit nervous. This photo below is why. =)
Yes, it was time to rock.
The first dance was pretty amazing. They were serenaded by Dolly Varden. If you haven’t seen this band play live, you should!
Here is the band at work…
One of Alton’s best friends sang a few songs for everyone…
Mary’s mother after the serenade…
And then the concert continued all night…
The groom getting crazy before he headed on stage to show us all his talents…
And then he did just that! He performed a few songs with his band…
Time for me to leave. They even had taxi information for all of us!
See ya next time!
