Meet Mary and John.

I have worked with Mary many times at weddings with her company Toast & Jam. We have become good friends and I was really excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding.

We started the shoot at their house in Logan Square.

They showed me around their backyard…
And then inside to say bye to the cats before we headed out.
Mary and John were up for anything.
First stop was one of my favorite spots in the city. I love that you can see the whole skyline in the background.
I didn’t have to do much directing. They were pros!
Mary said “that’s some huge caulk”.
I went with it…
She made sure that John was neat and tidy for the next shot.
True love.
We were lucky to have such a gorgeous day to walk around the city.
A killer microphone.
Then we went for a walk on the Bloomingdale Trail.
We made a new friend when we stopped for a break.
Mary and John enjoyed some Matilda during the break.
Mary gave John a hand with his beer.
A quick squeeze…
And we were on our way to the next stop.
We made our way to The Hideout, where John and Mary met.
They met during a concert they were both attending.
I had a great time shooting your engagement session, guys. I know your wedding is going to be incredible!
