Wedding season is officially in full swing! I’m glad that one of my first weddings of 2017 was with Samantha and Rob. Their day began at the Blackstone Hotel where Samantha was getting ready with a little help from her sister.
Samantha’s dad was so emotional when he saw her for the first time! Such a sweet moment.
The couple’s first look was held under the train tracks just outside of the venue. It was still a little chilly outside, so we didn’t stray too far from the hotel.
Back inside the hotel to warm up and relax before the ceremony.
While waiting for the wedding party to assemble, Samantha showed off some trick shot skills on the pool table.
The wedding party ventured back outside to take group portraits. Luckily, the Blackstone isn’t too far away from some great places to take pictures, so we were able to walk to the photo locations.
I love it when this happens… the cab driver managed to photobomb with a happy wave as he drove by.
A few minutes later, Samantha and Rob were surrounded by their family as they began the Ketubah signing ceremony.
Samantha and Rob were all smiles with the completion of the Ketubah…
…and shortly after, they were together again under their Chuppah. The ceremony was beautiful, filled with so much love and emotion.
After exchanging rings and a kiss, Samantha and Rob were officially married! Congratulations!
There were hugs all around after the ceremony as family and friends offered their congratulations.
Samantha’s grandma was especially happy and proud.
There were cheers and applause all around as the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the reception.
They took to the dance floor right away to share their first dance as husband and wife.
Samantha’s dad led the speeches, thanking guests for sharing in the wedding with the family.
Rob’s brother gave a loving tribute to the couple, sharing memories…
…and getting a few laughs.
Hora time! I love this part of the celebration. Look at Rob’s face!
When their feet were back on the ground, Rob and Samantha got the dance party started by inviting everyone to join them on the floor.
