Mary and John recently welcomed their son, Sebastian, into the world and asked me pop over to take a few photos of their bundle of joy. Sebastian was just a few days old and still getting acclimated to the strange, new world around him, but that didn’t stop us from posing him in awkward positions right away. Better that you get used to it now, buddy. Here’s the new kid on the block, delicately posed with a picture from his parents’ wedding day.
Initially, understandably, Sebastian was wary of the camera. I left him to cry it out on the couch with his mom and dad…
…and set out to take pictures of his nursery.
Sebastian’s mom and dad set him up real nice. He’s already got a lot of cool stuff in his collection:
Jackets…
…original artwork…
…special stuff for a special guy!
After a little lunch…
…and a cuddle session with dad…
…Sebastian was ready for his photo shoot.
Those newborn eyes were working hard to try and focus on the camera!
Sebastian slipped on his headphones and made good use of his developing vocal talents.
It had been a busy week, what with being born and all, and Sebastian wasn’t missing any opportunities to grab all the z’s he could.
What an absolute doll.
As I began to collect my things and wrap up the session, Sebastian extended his middle finger in my direction- a sign of his gratitude for having us pose him in all these crazy positions.
Welcome to the world, Sebastian! I’m already looking forward to our next shoot!
