Braxton’s been busy this summer! He’s already done an amazing job photographing several weddings, and he did another stellar job at Sonya and Chris’s wedding. Sonya and Chris were married at a nearby golf resort that was packed with great shooting locations. Braxton was eager to get to work, and the day began with Sonya and her bridesmaids getting ready.

Meanwhile, Chris was preparing as well. After a little help from his groomsmen, he was ready for his first meeting with Sonya, seen below.

Then they were off to the races! Braxton took some excellent photos with the couple and their bridal party- and it looks like they had fun, too!

They made it back in plenty of time for the ketubah signing. Friends and family gathered around Sonya and Chris as the marriage document was read aloud and then signed. After the signing, the group joined guests outside for the marriage ceremony. Sonya and Chris stood under a beautiful chuppah as they made their wedding promises to each other.

…and then they were pronounced husband and wife! Congratulations!

Everyone made their way into the reception hall for cocktails and dinner. Sonya and Chris made their entrance in the hall, met by the applause of their guests. They wasted no time getting to one of the most important events of the day…

…the cake cutting! Following the cake cutting, a fantastic meal was served, and then loved ones passed the microphone as they delivered speeches and toasts.

As guests enjoyed wedding cake and each other’s company, Braxton saw a great opportunity to sneak away with the newlyweds and take advantage of a gorgeous sunset. They were only gone for a few moments, and Braxton made an incredibly good use of their time!

The celebration continued as Sonya and Chris warmed up the floor for their guests as they shared their first dance as husband and wife. Immediately following was one of my favorite parts of any wedding- the hora! Check out some of the best of the dancing:

Congratulations on your marriage, Sonya and Chris! And fantastic work, as always, Braxton!
