Stephany and Daniel are getting married next July. I’ll be with them on the big day to document their wedding, but before that celebration arrives, we met up for an engagement session. We started near the couple’s home in Wicker Park, taking a few shots under a favorite mural.

Speaking of favorite murals, this JC Rivera piece of Bear Champ eating pizza may be one of my new go-to’s!

When Stephany and Daniel said they felt a little hungry, we immediately made the trip to Stan’s Donuts. So many delicious options to choose from!

The two enjoyed their snacks next to a wall of colorful mixers.

Fully sugared up, we moved on to Logan Square where we spent some time walking around the neighborhood, taking pictures with whatever looked interesting.

Stephany and Daniel are so much fun… lots of jokes and laughing. I can’t wait for their wedding day!

Once we were done on the busy sidewalks of Logan Square, we headed over to a more secluded corner of Humboldt Park. The fall colors were just beginning to fade away, but there were still many gorgeous opportunities for pictures in nature.

We ended our time together at the Lily Pond in Lincoln Park.

Stephany and Daniel were talking about their proposal story… as luck would have it, the exact spot where Daniel popped the question was nearby.

And this is where Stephany and Daniel started their engagement– on the shore of Lake Michigan with the city skyline standing behind them. I’m looking forward to perhaps visiting this spot again next summer on your wedding day, Stephany and Daniel! I can’t wait to see you then!
