We had a lot of fun during their engagement shoot in Champaign, Illinois last year. The wedding day was equally awesome.

I started downtown with Allison in her hotel room…

And, she is ready…
Stewart was getting the heads up that we were on our way downstairs…
But then we had to pull out the ‘how to bustle a dress’ brochure…
And the team took charge!
Stewart was anxiously awaiting…
And we were on our way to take photos around town.
Up first, the MCA…
I will use this wall until they take it down. =)
And the very cool staircase at the museum…
Getting in and out of these limo’s are not always that easy!
Museum stop number two. The Art Institutes new modern wing is amazing. I loved shooting here.
They all ran outside for another quick shot. It was SOOOO cold out. They were all troopers.
Allison got to warm up a bit before we jumped out again…
Union Station was great…
Stewart, FREEZING.
He braves the cold to get the shot…
And we ran to another spot!
Done.
And another… It really did feel like a marathon. It was so much fun!
I love that you can see his brother covering up his ears. I think it took about 5 minutes before I could feel mine again!
Allison wanted a shot with the ribbon at A New Leaf. I am glad she asked. I had never been in the basement!
Their friend and officiant was going over the ceremony…
The details for the ceremony were great!
His mom and dad are ready…
And Allison was all smiles…
It was a great ceremony!
Stewart and everyone else got choked up during his vows…
They are both architects and decided to seal their vows in a little wooden house…
And then it was macaroni on a spoon time!
And beef jerky time…
Drinks…
And tie chewing…
Finger pointing…
Good times!
The speeches…
Stewart’s brother gave a great speech.
And he got a kiss for it.
The cake…
The first dance!
And they even took a bow…
And then the dance party…
They left a Moleskine journal for each of their guests to take home…
And, thats its! Thanks for a cool night.
