It was Tamara and Robert’s big day! Everyone was present and ready for the celebration… including their pup!
When I got there, Nika Vaughan was finishing up Tamara’s make-up.
Her shoes were waiting and ready to be put on.
One of the bridesmaids helped Tamara with the finishing touches.
All dolled up, Tamara presented herself to the bridal party.
The girls walked to the church from their place. They were married just down the street.
Ceremony time!
Here’s Robert, who was waiting at the altar for his first look at Tamara.
Her father walked her down the aisle.
The priest greeted the guests and began the ceremony.
This guy was not as interested as everyone else!
Tamara’s dad.
Robert’s groomsemen were all smiles during the service.
Then they exchanged their rings and vows.
The newlyweds share a moment alone right after the wedding.
Then it was time to party! And it was definitely a party.
Where would you find a sign like this?
One of their favorite hangouts, of course. Bringer’s in Morton Grove definitely brought it!
The ladies were ready to party like rockstars!
Look at those moves! This girl knows how to party! On top of the bar…
…and on the pool table!
Who let her behind the bar?!?!
When the ladies room is occupied…
Her friend just couldn’t believe her eyes.
Back to the party trolley.
Watch out, lady! She’s married!
This photo has appeal for a certain audience…
Case in point.
A little rain wasn’t going to stop this party.
Robert and his groomsmen were very close.
The beer was working it’s magic.
Oh yes, this happened.
Everybody held on tight as the bus hit the road.
Sadly, this is how the “Which is better: Miller Lite or Coor’s Light?” conversation always ends.
There were middle fingers being flipped left and right.
Last call…
…before the reception, that is.
The guests all arrived at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort to greet the newlyweds. Her father had to get a photo on Facebook before anyone else.
The guests were all enjoying the cocktail hour.
Robert hung out with the guys for awhile.
And the monkey made his rounds, too.
Tamara worked so hard on the details with her close friends. She purchased this card catalog online to display the table settings.
Everything looked great! Her friend, Andrea, did the flowers and helped with most of the decor. Check out her site!
Here’s Tamara’s mom and dad on their wedding day.
Each table had a special place card that featured one of the couple’s favorite books.
The cake, baked by Rolf’s Patisserie was beautiful.
And check out the cake topper. Robert’s jersey gives a shout out to their little pup, Griswold.
The wedding party made their entrance as the reception got underway.
Robert carried his bride to the party.
A blessing was given before dinner.
Her mother.
Then the couple shared their first dance.
Followed by a lively father-daughter dance.
Robert shared a dance with his mother.
Then the rest of the crowd joined in.
Everybody danced away to tunes spun by Kristin of Toast & Jam.
Time for a refill!
Congratulations to a great couple! Thanks for letting me share the day with you!
