Oh, Whitney. She was nothing short of amazing from day one. I loved working with her and Jeff. This wedding was extra special because it was the first wedding that Jarrod and I were able to photograph together!

I met with her and Jeff at their place in Pilsen a week before the wedding and noticed her giant chalkboard with wedding details. I had to start the post with the shot I took during our meeting. By the way, she also makes a killer pizza! Thanks for having us over!!

They decided to get married in Indiana at a hidden gem. You have to check out County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana. This place was great!

I started with Whitney in her hotel room that was down the street from the Orchard.

I love a bride who is not afraid to sit on the toilet in front of my camera!
Her aunt and cousin was getting ready in the other room.
Looking adorable in her bird cage veil.
We met up with Jeff at the Sugar Shack. Yes, you heard that right, the Sugar Shack!
Jarrod got this great shot of Jeff waiting for Whitney.
Whitney found this great park to shoot some pre-ceremony images.
Her entire wedding had a yellow/grey theme. Even the shoes!
She decided cool off in the creek before the ceremony and I was so glad that she did!
The mosquitoes were not playing around.
You know that I was freaking out the entire time. I love that she was up for anything!
It started to rain as we arrived at the orchard.
The rain was definitely not going to stop us from shooting!
The rain let up and the mosquitoes were back in action! Whitney spots a few…
She regained her composure for a quick shot with Jeff.
This place was stunning! I loved it and can’t wait to shoot there again.
Love this shot of Whitney!
We will call this one “little apple, big hands”. =)
Oh no! Another wedding in barn number two. I had to ask Whitney to do this.
I spotted this great caricature of them when we headed inside for the ceremony.
Whitney’s father had to sneak a shot of his daughter before he led her down the aisle.
A barn wedding! I died.
Jeff and his brother.
Jeff’s sister performed the ceremony. She had to wipe away some tears before she could begin!
This had to be the shortest ceremony in the history of ceremonies!
The light in the barn was perfect!
It’s a wrap!
She saved a few tears for Jeff post-ceremony!
She went detail crazy and I went just as crazy for them! Her wedding colors really complimented the barn itself.
The candy buffet was filled with different shades of yellow!
My mother’s favorite candy! I have a fondness for the candy button. =)
That definitely deserves an exclamation point!
She had pencils at every table so that they could fill out these “mad lib” style messages.
It was fun getting to read a lot of them.
Jarrod photographed these next two. Love the yellow tinted water.
Messages in all of the drinks.
Her cousin with her customized photo booth favor.
They asked all of their guests to write a note or draw a photo on their “save the date” cards and they displayed them at the wedding for everyone to see.
This was my choice for grand prize!
Some delicious pies from Tipsy Cake.
His father was ready to make the introductions.
They came marching in!
A hip bump!
All of their siblings wished them well before dinner was served.
A quick first dance kicked everything off!
I love when the photo booth props are a hit!
The bride and groom made their way to the booth.
Their Pilsen neighbors brought along this little guy.
She was making some crazy faces for me all night!
Whitney’s mom and dad.
Five generations of fun.
And finally, the rings.
