Natalie began the wedding day getting ready at her parent’s Evanston home, where Lia of Nika Vaughan Bridal Artists styled Natalie’s hair and makeup. When I arrived, I took a few pictures of the bride and then we were off to nearby Lighthouse Beach, where Kyle was waiting for Natalie to arrive so they could share their first look.
After that beautiful moment, we hit up some favorite murals around town and stopped for a quick snack at their favorite local grill, Mustard’s Last Stand. We didn’t eat too much, though, as the staff at The Peckish Pig had drinks, dinner and dessert waiting for everyone to enjoy.
Sam, a friend of the couple, presided over the ceremony, and after guests enjoyed their meals, DJ Norah of Toast & Jam played the hits that kept everyone dancing. It was a fun, beautiful day and I’m so happy I got to play a part!
